In '91, a friend bought me a new radio for my Isuzu Trooper. After having installed it, I got radio stations that I couldn't get in the truck's stock radio. I heard this guy speaking about things that I'd never heard, except out of my own mouth! It wasn't that I was listening in an echo chamber as, none of these things were being said elsewhere. I heard him, not convincing me of what I thought I already thought, but confirming what I'd been thinking that almost no one else was saying. It was gratifying to say the least. Any idea whom that might have been?

I'm experiencing the same thing now!

Thanks so much for the most kind words, Peter. My guess is that the mystery radio personality you were listening to in 1991 was either Howard Stern or Rush Limbaugh (correct me if I'm wrong). I'm flattered either way...

Stern is entertaining, but not sufficiently educated, eloquent, "convicted", nor informed.
