Listened to your complete article. It was like being grabbed by the shirt collar and shaken to awake. I knew my social media use was detrimental to me, our family and mental health. Like an addict, I couldn’t stop. Until two days ago after I prayed for sleep at 3:30 AM. I knew things had to change. The phone has robbed me of so much, and I allowed. Won’t lie, the withdrawal is real. Day 2 of minimal use.
You’re a brilliant writer and I’ve shared your article with many. Keep up the great work, and God Bless Substack for giving talented people a platform outside of the corporate media monopoly. We’re very fortunate to now have it.
This is very interesting and right on the money. I think it would make a great video essay too for YouTube.
Thank you, Sasha. Been thinking along the same lines about a video essay...
Bravo!

Thank you for reaching out, Jules. Remember, moderation is key. All we need to do is meet our addictions halfway. Good luck with your journey.

Thank you for the kind words, Jules, and yes, we're most fortunate to have a neutral platform like Substack to voice our views.
